OVO
Problem: 250,000 tents are left behind at festivals every year which harm the environment.
​
Idea: Tenturbines.
The tents can be recycled and turned in to vertical wind turbines through 3D printing, which could be used to power the entire festival.
We would have branded containers at the exits of the festivals for people to dump their unwanted tents.
​
People who engaged with the scheme would be asked to join OVO, resulting in rewards such as early access tickets and cheaper festivals if they were powered through renewable energy.
